EazyJobs is operated by Eazy Employment PTY Ltd, 318 Mandalay Road, Mandalay QLD 4802, Australia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and the login method you choose (email, Facebook or Google sign-in).
When you build your profile we collect the information you choose to add — for example your photo, work history, skills, job preferences, availability and location preferences.
When you use the app we collect usage information (such as swipes, matches and messages) and technical information about your device, so the app works properly and keeps improving.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to match job seekers with employers, to enable chat and video interviews inside the app, to operate and secure the service, and to communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Who can see your details
Employers cannot see your profile at all until you have liked one of their jobs — until that moment you are completely invisible to them. Your profile is never publicly visible on the internet.
You have full control over what information you choose to share, and you can adjust your privacy and permission settings in the app at any time.
4. Cookies and app permissions
This website uses only the cookies required for it to function and to understand aggregate traffic. The app asks for permissions (such as camera and microphone for video interviews, or notifications) only when a feature needs them, and you can change these in your device settings.
5. Storage and security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but protecting your data is a core part of how EazyJobs is built.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or via the delete-account page on this website, after which your profile is removed from matching and your personal information is deleted or de-identified, unless we are required by law to keep it.
7. Third-party services
We work with a small number of service providers (for example app store distribution, hosting and sign-in providers) who process information on our behalf and only under our instructions.
8. Your rights
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you can contact us and you may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and we will let you know in the app if we make material changes.
